Bio

Exquisite Gender is Atlanta's premiere original  rock band. We perform rockin' originals, choice covers, and feature music from Tony Award winning musical, Hedwig & the Angry Inch.

Lead singer and bassist Shanti locks in with Drummer Mandi MacDonald, creating a rock

groove that is undeniable.

Harmonies and rhythm guitar come from Atlanta music scene veteran Amy Epperley. Since returning to music in 2016, Amy Eppeerley, aka The Platinum Viking, has quickly built up a reputation as the hardest working bass players around and has been steadily working towards becoming a full-time professional touring musician, playing in original, cover and tribute bands at home and around the country. Recently she has expanded her ever expanding repertoire with song-writing, home recording, lead vocals and guitar playing and is looking forward to continuing to connect with audiences in person, on the road and through her passion for music.

 

The band’s exquisite sound is punctuated with ripping solos and delicate piano musings from ace lead guitarist and guitar/keyboard synth player JoAnn Pfeiffer.

Hard-driving drummer Mandi MacDonald (Straightlaced, Jezebel) holds down the beat..
